Giants placed RHP Matt Cain on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 22, with a strained right hamstring. Cain will spend the minimum amount of time on the disabled list, as he's expected to return to the rotation on June 6. Yusmeiro Petit will once again start in his place on Saturday.
