Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Jonathan Sanchez (ankle) is "doubtful" to make his next start and could be placed on the disabled list. The Giants will either place Sanchez or Nate Schierholtz (foot) on the disabled list as the corresponding move to Carlos Beltran's activation. Sanchez was injured on August 16, so he would be eligible to return on September 1 if he is indeed disabled. Dan Runzler could get another start this weekend.
