Giants manager Bruce Bochy indicated after Saturday's game that Jeremy Affeldt (groin) is likely to be placed on the disabled list. Affeldt left the outing with a left groin strain. "That's a dangerous area," the manager said. The Giants will still have a couple lefties in the pen without Affeldt, but losing him is obviously a blow.
