Giants activated RHP Matt Cain from the 15-day disabled list. Cain will return to the rotation on Friday against the Mets after missing a couple weeks with a right hamstring strain. The veteran right-hander has posted a 3.66 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in eight starts for the Giants this season.
