Giants acquired RHP Jake Peavy and cash considerations from the Red Sox for LHP Edwin Escobar and RHP Heath Hembree. Peavy is scheduled to make his Giants debut on Sunday when he toes the slab against the Dodgers. While he struggled through his first 20 starts on the season (4.72 ERA, 1.43 WHIP), he should certainly benefit from a return to the National League West and is worth a look if available in mixed leagues.
