Giancarlo Stanton (wrist) is expected to play in the Marlins' series opener Thursday against the Mets. Stanton left Wednesday's series finale versus the Cubs with a minor wrist contusion but he felt fine in the clubhouse afterward. He has a .299/.394/.593 batting line with 20 home runs and 57 RBI on the season.
