Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder) will not play on Saturday according to Marlins manager Mike Redmond. Stanton was scratched from Friday's lineup due to the sore left shoulder. Stanton is off to a brutally slow start, hitting .167/.342/.233 with zero homers, and perhaps the shoulder injury could be an underlying cause. He's considered day-to-day.
