Giancarlo Stanton is optimistic that he's OK after he was hit on the back of the head and at the top of his neck by a pitch from prospect right-hander Jose Fernandez on Wednesday during a simulated game. Stanton left the field after he was hit and had the back of his neck wrapped in an ice pack in the clubhouse. "I wasn't dizzy or nothing. I saw a little greyness, fuzziness on the outside of my eyes," explained Stanton. "But it's subsiding now." The young slugger does not expect to miss any time, but the Marlins aren't going to take any chances. Look for an update on his status Thursday.
