Giancarlo Stanton hit his eighth home run of the season in a win over the Braves on Tuesday. It was Stanton's only hit in four at-bats. Against left-hander Alex Wood, Stanton took an outside pitch and drove it to the opposite field for the two-run shot. He continues to lead the National League in home runs (8) and RBI (31) through 26 games.
