Giancarlo Stanton has committed to playing for Team USA in the upcoming World Baseball Classic. Stanton, who has openly criticized Marlins ownership and been the subject of numerous trade rumors in recent weeks, is one of the best young power hitters in the game and a tremendous addition to the USA lineup. He joins David Wright, Adam Jones, Ryan Braun, Joe Mauer and Brandon Phillips as stars who have already committed to the team.
