New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (ankle) was sent to the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. It was originally stated that he was dealing with a right calf strain. However, late Wednesday, Yankees manager Aaron Boone clarified that Stanton was instead dealing with ankle inflammation.
