However, the 26-year-old may have a legitimate outside shot at making the expanded 30-man Opening Day roster, considering he slashed an eye-popping .337/.401/.635 across 282 plate appearances at Triple-A New Orleans in the Marlins organization in 2019 and has been mentioned as a potential darkhorse candidate for occasional designated-hitter duties in the upcoming season.
