Gerrit Cole was hammered for five runs over six innings and took the loss in Tuesday's start against the Reds. Cole pitched reasonably well through five innings, but allowed two home runs in the sixth inning to fork over the lead. Overall, he allowed nine hits and walked three while striking out three. His results have been all over the place to start the season, but he'll try to right the ship on Sunday against the Brewers.
