Gerrit Cole allowed one run over eight strong innings of work but settled for a no-decision against the Brewers on Sunday. Cole looked like he was going to secure a hard-earned win before Mark Reynolds hit an eighth inning home run to tie the score at 1-1. He again appeared in line for a victory after the Bucs scored to take the lead in bottom half of the inning, but Jason Grilli was unable to close it out. Still, Cole gave up just six hits and a walk while striking out six in the game. He'll next take on the Cardinals in St. Louis on Friday.
