George A. King III of the New York Post reports that the Yankees will have scouts watching Chien-Ming Wang when he pitches for Taiwan during the World Baseball Classic. General manager Brian Cashman said he hasn't been in contact with Wang's representatives, but it sounds like the club is at least considering adding the right-hander for depth purposes. Wang, of course, spent the first five seasons of his career in pinstripes, winning 19 games for the Bombers in back-to-back seasons. He's posted a 4.94 ERA over just 94 2/3 frames since 2010 while being plagued by shoulder issues.
