Gentry will platoon in center field with Sam Fuld, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. With Coco Crisp moving to left field, this opens up center field for the defensively gifted Gentry and Sam Fuld platoon. Gentry is on the side of the platoon where he won't see as many at-bats as Fuld, but one would guess that Fuld will not hit enough to play against every righty. Gentry only had 232 at-bats in 2014 due to a myriad of injuries, but was still able to swipe 20 bases in only 22 attempts when he was on the field.
