Gentry was 0-for-3 on Sunday, extending his hitless streak to begin the year to 17 at-bats. Gentry had not started a game in over a week as the A's had been facing right-handed pitchers. Gentry will continue to play center field when the A's face a lefty, but his brutal start has killed any chance to earn any substntial at-bats agaisnt righties for the time being.
