Gentry will replace Daniel Nava in the order with the Angels using a platoon for its left field position. He'll bat second against left-hander Jon Lester. In his career, Gentry slashes .273/.354/.321 against lefties, so if he can get on base, he'll be in a favorable position in the lineup to come around to score with Mike Trout and Albert Pujols hitting behind him.
