Gentry (hand) was activated from the 15-day DL on Friday and is expected to be in the A's lineup against the Angels. He began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, and hit .267 in four games. The A's will find modest playing time for Gentry now that he's healthy, and he offers speed (18 steals in 218 plate appearances) with a .250-.280 batting average for those in deeper leagues.
