General manager Billy Eppler said Shoemaker (forearm) underwent an MRI on Saturday that showed no structural damage, Maria Guardado of MLB.com reports.

While this is good news, Shoemaker is still apparently experiencing some issues on the top of his forearm, so he'll head back Los Angeles to be reevaluated. A revised timetable for his return should be available following his reevaluation. In the meantime, Parker Bridwell will take another turn in the rotation Sunday while Shoemaker continues to work back from his forearm issue.
