Geltz had a rough night, allowing four runs on three hits, walking one and striking out three over 1.1 innings to take the loss as the Rays fell to the Yankees 7-5 in 12 innings. He has been an exceptional set-up man for the Rays this season, including a stretch of 32 consecutive hitters retired in June, but this wasn't his night. After his mates gave him a two-run lead in the top of the 12th, he came back out for the bottom of the inning and allowed one run to score before serving up a walk-off, three-run shot to Brian McCann.
