Gavin Floyd will start Tuesday against the Royals. Early speculation was that Floyd was going to start Monday's makeup game against the Tigers, but Jose Quintana will get the assignment now that Francisco Liriano isn't being skipped in the rotation. Floyd allowed three runs over 4 2/3 innings Wednesday in his first start back from the disabled list and will get some extra time to recover.
