Gavin Floyd was hit hard in a no decision against the Mariners on Saturday, giving up five runs on nine hits over his five innings of work. Floyd struck out four and didn't walk a batter in the game. As was the problem with Hector Noesi on the other side of the diamond, Floyd was a victim of the long ball in this one. All of the runs scored against him came courtesy of big flies from Michael Saunders, Justin Smoak and a pair from Ichiro Suzuki. He remains 4-5 on the season, but raises his ERA to an unimpressive 5.32. He'll attempt to get back in the win column when he takes on the Astros at home on Friday.
