Gavin Floyd struck out nine batters, but still allowed four runs on four hits and two walks over six innings in a loss to the Astros on Friday night. Yet again, it was the home run ball that brought about Floyd's demise in this outing. Brett Wallace hit a solo shot in the second inning, and Jed Lowrie added a two-run blast in fifth. With the loss, Floyd drops to 4-6 on the season. And he's also sporting a 5.38 ERA. He'll look to get back on track when he squares off against the Cardinals in St. Louis on Thursday.
