Gavin Floyd hurled seven innings of one-run ball in a 3-1 win over the Red Sox on Friday night. He held the Red Sox to three hits and a pair of walks while fanning six. The only run scored on a solo homer by Jarrod Saltalamacchia in the third inning. Floyd now has a fantastic 0.81 ERA and 16/3 K/BB ratio in three starts since the All-Star break.
