Gavin Floyd (elbow) threw a 40-pitch live batting practice Saturday without incident. Floyd continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery, and Saturday was another step in the right direction. The Braves hope he'll start a game at some point this month, and they're still expecting a May return for the right-hander. The team needs Floyd to come back strong after the recent injuries to Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy.
