Gavin Floyd came through with an impressive outing when the White Sox needed it most on Friday, allowing just one run on two hits over five innings in a win over the Rays. Floyd struck out six in the game. He also struggled with his command though, issuing five walks and requiring 105 pitches to battle through five innings. While the Rays certainly made him work, he was able to come through with big pitches when he needed to, limiting the overall damage. He'll take an 11-11 record and 4.47 ERA into the regular season finale against the Indians in Cleveland on Wednesday.
