Gavin Floyd allowed three runs (two earned) over six innings Thursday in a loss to the Royals. All three runs scored in the fifth inning. He struck out five and walked just one in the loss. Floyd doesn't have a lot of upside, but he has averaged 7.4 K/9 over the past four seasons and has made at least 29 starts in each of the last five years. He's not a bad option as a final member of a pitching staff in standard 12-team mixed leagues.
