Gausman will work out of the bullpen in the ALDS, Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports. The O's have yet to confirm their rotation beyond Chris Tillman, but it will presumably be Wei-Yin Chen, Bud Norris and Miguel Gonzalez in Games 2, 3, and 4, respectively, with Gausman ticketed for relief duty. The 23-year-old Gausman turned in arguably his best month of the season in September, posting a 2.87 ERA with a 29:9 K:BB over 31.1 innings, but he said he expected to work out of the bullpen in the ALDS with the other starters pitching well at the moment.
