Gausman (6-10) blanked the Yankees for seven innings Sunday, scattering seven hits while striking out nine, to pick up his first road win of the season.

Incredibly Gausman had been 0-16 in his last 25 starts away from Camden Yards, last winning a road start just over two years ago in Cleveland. He's now thrown 13 scoreless frames over his last two outings and has four quality starts in six August trips to the mound, giving him a 2.45 ERA and strong 41:12 K:BB in 36.2 innings on the month. Gausman may finally be developing into the ace he was projected to be when he was coming up through the Orioles' system. He'll try to keep his scoreless streak going Saturday in a rematch back in Baltimore against the Yankees.
