Gattis (wrist) will begin a rehabilitation assignment Wednesday at Low-A Quad Cities, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Gattis reported to Quad Cities earlier this week and will appear in Wednesday's Midwest League playoff game at Peoria. There will be two more playoff games Thursday and Friday, which should be enough to prepare Gattis for re-entry to the majors this weekend.
