Gattis will catch for the Astros on Thursday, Angel Verdejo Jr. of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After having Gattis catch four games for the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks and several bullpen sessions, the Astros are now ready to deploy Gattis behind the plate in a major league game. Gattis last caught a game in the majors back in September of 2014. Regaining catcher eligibility would certainly help Gattis' cause in the fantasy game, but he's done little of note with the bat so far this season, going 13-for-64 (.203 average) with one home run.
