Gattis went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a blowout loss to Texas on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gattis and his 24th long ball of the year were nearly the only bright spots for the Astros in this one, as they got pummeled by a 14-3 score. While the power production is nice and Gattis is on the verge of clearing 80 RBI for the first time, his low batting average and lack of speed will reduce his value greatly in next year's drafts, as he'll lose catcher eligibility in most leagues after not playing a single game behind the plate this year.
