Gattis went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in a 10-6 win over Oakland on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
That now marks the 25th homer for the Astros designated hitter and he's giving fantasy owners the power they were hoping for. His .206 ISO is fantastic and it makes him one of the best power-hitting catcher eligible players in baseball. The downside with Gattis is the dreadful .276 OBP and 0.24 walk-to-strikeout rate. He'll have trouble ever hitting above .250, but he should be a nice power source for years to come.
