Gattis isn't in the lineup Monday against the Padres. With Gattis struggling at the plate (.160 average, one homer over 64 at-bats) and no DH spot available in the lineup in San Diego, the 28-year-old will be left on the bench Monday. Manager A.J. Hinch indicated prior to the start of the series that he hopes to get Gattis at least one start in left field, but that will have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday.
