Gattis is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers.

Gattis will be replaced by Preston Tucker at the DH spot Saturday with the Astros facing Justin Verlander and the Tigers. He went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in Friday's matchup and is now 1-for-8 on the year. The Astros have been trying him back out at catcher of late, so he could gain eligibility there in the near future if manager A.J Hinch opts to plug him in behind the plate in place of Jason Castro.
