Gattis (illness) is out of the lineup Friday against the Rangers. Gattis has been out of the lineup since Monday with strep throat, but manager Fredi Gonzalez hopes to have him back at some point this weekend. Friday is no longer an option for Gattis' return, as Christian Bethancourt will start behind home plate and bat seventh for the Braves.
