Garrett Jones and Andrew McCutchen hit back-to-back solo homers in the eighth inning to lead the Pirates to a 5-3 win over the Nationals in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. Jones took Sean Burnett deep for his first home run off a left-handed pitcher since August 7 of last season. He finished the day 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. He's now hitting .319 since the start of June, pulling his batting average up to .255 for the year.
