Gardner went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Monday's 10-4 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Gardner didn't start Sunday but still managed two hits in five at-bats in the 18-inning marathon. The lefty speedster has now hit in 10 straight games to raise his average to .260 on the season. The homer was his sixth in 2017. The 33-year-old continues to be valuable for his speed, but he also has occasional pop, as evidenced by his four long balls in the month of May already.
