Frias (back) will return to the Dodgers in September as a member of the bullpen, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

Frias has been sidelined for an extended period of time with the back issue, in which time the club has added another couple starting pitchers in Mat Latos and Alex Wood. As a result, he no longer fits into the rotation, and will instead offer some relief in the closing month of the season. However, it remains unclear exactly when he will rejoin the club.
