Fresh off being named to his second consecutive All Star Game, Gio Gonzalez had one of his poorer starts of the season in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Braves, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks in just five innings of work.
Gonzalez struck out four and served up a three-run homer to Freddie Freeman in improving to 11-3. The outing was his second shortest of the year, though he's now allowed four earned runs in back-to-back starts. His final start before the All-Star break will come Saturday at home against the Rockies.
