A September call-up by the Mariners last year, Freeman didn't perform well at the top level in a small sample size with both Seattle and Arizona last season. He does possess enough speed and a solid contact rate that could result in him being plucked off waivers, but if not, he will likely remain in the Mariners system off of the 40-man roster.
