Free-agent shortstop Jimmy Rollins had minor surgery on his left wrist Thursday. The surgery is not expected to impact his availability for spring training. Rollins has been adamant in his desire for a five-year deal this offseason, but it's remains unlikely that any team would be willing to give him that length of contract. The 33-year-old posted a .268/.338/.399 batting line with 16 homers and 30 stolen bases in 142 games for Philadelphia this past season. He is expected to return on a three-year deal, perhaps with an option.
