FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Mariners had "high-level scouts" at Jake Peavy's start Thursday. Morosi also notes that the M's also scouted the Padres-Brewers series this week. It appears that, despite being 10 games out of first place and 7.5 back in the Wild Card standings, that Seattle might be buyers at the trade deadline.
