FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Marlins are shopping starting pitcher Jacob Turner. The Marlins have starting pitching depth and long-term needs at second base and first base, so they're trying to do some roster shifting. Turner, a first-round pick (ninth overall) in 2009, posted a 3.74 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 118 innings last season for Miami. A trade of Turner would clear the way for an early-season promotion of Marlins top pitching prospect Andrew Heaney.
