Fowler went 1-for-4 with a walk and run in Sunday's 4-3 Opening Day win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler was effective in his Cardinals debut and opened the scoring on the night when he came home on a Matt Carpenter sacrifice fly in the third inning. The veteran outfielder is coming off a torrid spring during which he hit .349 with two doubles, three triples, a home run, seven RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Fowler will be relied on to set the table for the likes of Aledmys Diaz and Matt Carpenter in the coming season while also providing double-digit homer potential out of the top of the order.
