Fowler exited Thursday's game against the Brewers with a right shoulder strain.
EDGE Analysis
On a night where the Cardinals had already lost Stephen Piscotty to a hamstring strain, fellow outfielder Dexter Fowler was lifted early after straining his shoulder while diving for a ball in the top of the third inning. He was able to finish out the frame but did not return to the field in the following inning. The initial diagnosis suggests that a DL trip may be coming, but we'll have to wait for further word from the Cardinals in regards to his status.
