Flynn was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan reports. Flynn was beat out by Ryan Madson for the final spot allocated for relief pitching on the Opening Day roster. He gave up just four earned runs and struck out 14 over 15 innings this spring, but will begin 2015 in the minors in hopes of receiving a call to the bigs when the need arises.
