Flynn and fellow pitcher Reid Redman were traded to the Royals on Friday in exchange for Aaron Crow, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports. Flynn had appeared in just six big league games during career, but he does own a respectable 3.49 ERA over 92 minor league starts. He should get a chance to compete for the fifth starter's job during spring training unless the Royals sign someone to fill the spot during the offseason.
