Floyd (elbow) will have his first appearance of the spring pushed back a couple of days, MLB.com reports. "We're just trying to back up Gavin a few days," manager Terry Francona said. "We really are adamant with him that we want him to be completely game ready when he starts to pitch, and he's been really good about communicating with us." Floyd was scheduled to make his first start Sunday but the Indians will exercise a bit of caution and give him a couple of more days. Floyd's recovering from elbow surgery but has targeted to be ready for the start of the regular season.
